Pursuing a career in aerospace? Apply for a PNAA Scholarship

The Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA) has maintained a scholarship fund since 2009 as part of its commitment to workforce development.  Eligible students enrolled in participating aerospace programs are granted scholarships of a minimum of $1,000.  The program has grown substantially since its inception, and PNAA awarded $31,000 in scholarships at the 2023 Aerospace Conference. Since PNAA began its scholarship program, they have raised over $359,000, helping more than 170 students pursue their dream of entering the aerospace industry.

Eligible Students:

Students must be pursuing a career in aerospace, and typically study such programs as Aviation Maintenance Technician, Aerospace Composite Technician, Aviation (Air Traffic Control, Aircraft Dispatch, Pilot), Electronics Technician and Computer Aided Drafting and Design.  Scholarship Contributors are given the opportunity to select from participating schools and earmark their scholarship to a student in a particular career track.

  • -Be enrolled as a student at a college or university

  • -Eligible students must be participating in a program related to the aerospace industry and that will result in the attainment of a Diploma or Degree

  • -The student must be focused on a career in the aerospace industry

  • -The student must have a financial need

  • -The student must maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA

  • -Must be Pacific Northwest based (Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, British Columbia or Alberta)
