EvCC Opens New Cascade Learning Resource Center

Everett Community College (EvCC) opened its new Cascade Learning Resource Center last month. In 2018, EvCC Board of Trustees selected the site for the college’s new Learning Resource Center. The previous Library Media Center was built in 1988 after arson destroyed the college’s library and student union. Since then, the number of students educated at EvCC has nearly tripled, therefore lacking room for students and tutoring resources. Construction began for the site two years ago.

EvCC College celebrated the grand opening of the 65,000-square-foot building on September 28th. The event included a ribbon cutting ceremony and self-guided tours of the three-story building and was open to the public.

·      Center for Transformative Teaching

·      Library
