Honoring Veterans In Aviation This Memorial Day

On Monday the Museum of Flight will commemorate those who lost their lives in service to our country. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. with the Boeing Employee Concert Band, followed by remarks from Museum President and CEO, Matt Hayes, Tukwila Mayor Allen Ekberg and a special keynote address from U.S. Marine veteran Michael Reagan.

At 2:00 PM Reagan will go in depth on The Fallen Hero Portrait Project. So far he has completed over 8,700 portraits. 

Also on Monday Women In Aviation International will commemorate the contribution of women airforce service pilots in World War II. 

On Monday women pilots, families, and supporters will visit the graves of women airforce service pilots to leave flowers and other remembrances.
